WONDERFUL PAIR OF VINTAGE PORCELAIN, CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY CHOIR BOY CANDLE HOLDER FIGURINES. What lovely old Christmas Holiday decorations. Hard to find boy figurines these days. Many ceramic companies produced a full line of Holiday, Birthday and decorative Angel and pixie figurines during the 1940's-1960's, along with Lefton, Inarco, Napco and other factories of that time. It was considered the "Golden Age" of ceramic and porcelain Holiday decorations, for pieces such as these! Beautiful detailing into the cast porcelain molds. Rich, hand painted coloration to our little choir boys, each holding a song book in their hands. Candle holder base is about 7/16" in diameter, to hold that smaller size candle. Gold accent trim to their shoes and the candle holder. The choir boy candle holders are in very good vintage condition, free of chips or cracks, as shown in the photos. They measures about 3" tall. They are unmarked, but would have been produced in Japan, and imported to the U.S. after the war when trade began between our countries again, for sale in specialty stores across the country.
