WONDERFUL PAIR OF VERY UNUSUAL, VINTAGE HARD PLASTIC CHRISTMAS VILLAGE TRAFFIC SIGNALS. Perfect for your your Christmas Village, Nativity, Putz or Model Railroad, under the tree. Nice, large scale, top of the stop and go light turns, red, green and yellow circles on the spinner, so you control the traffic flow! Christmas village decorations such as these, were sold in the local five and dime stores, from small towns to large metro cities after WWII, when exports from Japan to the U.S. began again. This was the "Golden Age" of Christmas Holiday decoration, 1940's-1960's. Beautiful detailing and coloration. Nice heavy molded plastic, giving the pieces great detail. The Christmas village traffic lights are in very good vintage condition, as shown in the photos. They measure about 5 7/8"tall, 1 7/8" square base. Unmarked, but most likely, MADE IN JAPAN. What a great addition for your CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY collection!!!!
