WONDERFUL SET OF SEVEN, VINTAGE BLACK ART MAMMY DAYS OF THE WEEK DESIGN KITCHEN DISH, TEA TOWELS. What an amazing find! All seven of the days of the week set in such great condition. The classic, "MAMMY", design, counted cross stitched to the lovely linen towels. The 1940's-1960's was the time for classic textile designers such as Vera Neuman, Tammis Keefe, Luther Travis and others, to shine with so many whimsical motifs such as this. The hand crafted cottage industry flourished during this time period also, producing lovely examples such as these. Rich, vibrant coloration. Beautiful detailing to the set, each day of the week showing another chore to be done. The rich linen fabric of the tea towels, is in very good vintage condition, free of rips or tears, as shown in the photos. Each towel measures about 29 1/2" X 20 1/2". Also, please note that these are vintage and used linens, unless noted. We do our very best to be as accurate as possible in our description.
