WONDERFUL VINTAGE PORCELAIN, CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY CHOIR ANGEL GIRL FIGURINE. What a lovely old Holiday decoration. Many ceramic companies produced a full line of Holiday, Birthday and decorative Angel and pixie figurines during the 1940's-1960's, along with Lefton, Inarco, Napco and other factories of that time. It was considered the "Golden Age" of ceramic and porcelain Holiday decorations, for pieces such as these! Beautiful detailing into the cast porcelain mold. Rich, hand painted coloration. Unusual glaze treatment to her hair, to give it a raised textured effect. Gold accents to her wings. She holds a choir song book in her lap, holds her hands up to her ears. The angel girl is in very good vintage condition, free of chips or cracks, as shown in the photos. She measures about 3 1/4" tall. She is ink stamped on the bottom, "JAPAN".
