WONDERFUL, VINTAGE NAPCO PORCELAIN, FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY BIRTHDAY GIRL BELL FIGURINE. What a lovely old Holiday decoration. We do not find July Holiday bells very often! Many ceramic companies produced a full line of Holiday, Birthday and decorative Angel and pixie figurines during the 1940's-1960's, along with Lefton, Inarco, Art Ceramics, and other factories of that time. It was considered the "Golden Age" of ceramic and porcelain Holiday decorations, for pieces such as these! Beautiful detailing into the cast porcelain mold. Heavy trim to her long, flowing dress. Rich, hand painted coloration. Gold accents to the stars, trim on her dress, and the lettering, "JULY", on the front of her dress. She holds a red, white and blue banner, decorated with a gold star, ready to start the July 4th festivities!!! The July girl bell is in very good vintage condition, free of chips or cracks, as shown in the photos. The clacker is there and intact. She measures about 4 1/4" tall. She has her original silver paper tag, "A NAPCO CERAMIC", and is numbered, ink stamped on the bottom, "S984". She would have been produced in Japan, and imported to the U.S. for sale in specialty stores across the country.
