WONDERFUL OLD FASHIONED VINTAGE STYLED, GERMAN CHRISTMAS DIE CUT PAPER, VILLAGE MARKET SCENE ADVENT CALENDAR. What a lovely Christmas Holiday tradition! The advent calendar dates back to the 1800's in Germany. The classic design and printing style continues today. Rich, vibrant coloration. Beautiful detailing to the winter village snow scene, Saint Nicholas riding a horse with his bag of toys, the hot air balloon, the little children playing. Twenty four little die cut doors, ready to be opened for the count down to Christmas. Silver glitter accents the scene. The large size Advent calendar is in very good condition, free of rips or tears, in the original cellophane packaging, as shown in the photo. It measures about 14" X 10".
